The name Nunsense suggests that fun-loving nonsense can happen to nuns of The Little Sisters of Hoboken who teach in a Catholic school in New Jersey! The concept that began in greeting cards became a successful off-Broadway show in 1985, the creation of Dan Goggin. Essentially a cabaret show with a light-hearted plot, five women play the unique and hilarious main characters. The Nunsense musicals now appear in several versions, have grossed $300 million, and have been translated into 26 languages.
